Property Reference: 3085312. Detached 2-Bed Coach House South-West Balcony Cotham BS6 A rare opportunity to rent a self-contained detached two-bedroom coach house in the heart of the Cotham Conservation Area. Unlike the vast majority of BS6 properties, this is a completely detached home with its own private entrance, no shared accommodation, and no adjoining walls. Tucked away on a quiet residential street, it offers an exceptionally private style of living while remaining within easy walking distance of the Bristol Royal Infirmary, University of Bristol, BBC, and the city centre. Light-Filled Reverse-Level Living Originally built as a traditional coach house, the property blends character features—such as exposed timber beams and a pitched ceiling—with bright, modern comfort. The heart of the home is the expansive first-floor open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space. Six large rooflights flood the room with natural light throughout the day, while glazed double doors open directly onto a sunny, south-west facing balcony (no ground garden). Enjoying sun for much of the day and open views across the Cotham streetscape, the balcony is an ideal spot for outdoor dining and summer evenings. The clever reverse-level layout keeps the two generous double bedrooms cooler on the ground floor, while maximising the exceptional light and vaulted ceilings in the living space upstairs. Bonus Storage Space Unusually for a central property, the coach house includes a large 35 m² private dry storage cellar , accessed directly via an internal staircase—perfect for storage including, sports gear, or hobby equipment.
